"how strange it is to be anything at all"
This is a book project that started as a self-reflection that quickly transitioned into a community effort involving the LGBTQ+ community. I wanted to make work that was more personal and evocative to explore identity. The project features my work- self-portraits and landscapes as matching imagery to stories that are told by participants who have expressed interest in collaborating. I wanted to create a physical object to help those who feel their experiences are not legitimate- myself included.
